Veteran actress Patience Ozokwor has directly confronted recent viral claims accusing her of unlawfully seizing land belonging to a widow and her daughter, asserting the allegations are a calculated act of blackmail and fraud. Ozokwor, widely known as "Mama G," detailed her acquisition of the property, stating she purchased the land 15 years ago, in 2010, directly from the then-owner who had sought out her agent for the sale.
According to Ozokwor, the current dispute arose last year when the previous owner allegedly attempted to sell a portion of the land without her knowledge or consent. Upon discovering this, Ozokwor took steps to fence her property. Subsequently, she observed the owner and her daughter circulating a video online, tearfully accusing her of dispossessing them of their late husband's and father's sole remaining land inheritance.
Ozokwor vehemently denies these accusations, characterizing them as "vicious lies" and an attempt to leverage her name for personal gain and public sympathy. She notes that their strategy appears to be working, with some individuals making donations to the accusers and directing insults toward her

Emphasizing that social media is not a judicial platform, the actress declared her intention to pursue legal avenues to clear her name, which she states has been painstakingly built over years and is essential to her livelihood. She expressed her disappointment with certain bloggers who reposted and shared the unsubstantiated claims without proper verification, issuing a direct challenge: "Meet Me in Court." Ozokwor also extended her gratitude to those who have offered her support during this period.
