The ongoing online spat between Nollywood actresses Angela Okorie and Regina Daniels has taken another sharp turn, with Angela delivering a scorching retort to Regina's earlier criticisms. This public feud ignited when Angela Okorie took to Instagram Live, alleging that fellow actress Mercy Johnson was seriously ill and needed to seek forgiveness from those she had supposedly wronged. This video drew widespread backlash, with many condemning Angela's insensitivity. Among those who publicly slammed Angela was Regina Daniels.
Regina didn't mince words in her initial response to Angela, bluntly questioning her behavior: "I’m sorry and with all due respect, aunty Angela you dey m@d! Abeg no forgive because for this side, we no dey forgive. continue and whilst at it, no forget say she get pikin wey gidigba. No dey shalaye!!!" Regina emphasized that Angela shouldn't speak carelessly about a mother, especially given Mercy Johnson's children might one day encounter such videos. However, Angela Okorie was quick to retaliate. In a new Instagram story, she directly addressed Regina, bringing up her marriage and past association. Angela stated, "You are like a child to me... you used to come to my house with your mum… I thought you were sensible enough to marry a man of your age." She accused Regina of disrespect and asserted that Regina had no moral standing to comment on the matter. Angela issued a stern warning: "You feel because you married a grandpa you can talk to me? If you insult me again, I will remind you what you have forgotten." She also advised young girls to prioritize self-respect and financial independence, suggesting Regina lacked proper home training.
Angela concluded her message with a final, unyielding warning: "Last warning @regina.daniels. I no dey see anybody wey no get respect o."
