Aliko Dangote, the prominent Nigerian businessman and chairman of Dangote Group, has expressed strong commendation for the economic policies and programs championed by President Bola Tinubu. Speaking in Lagos on Thursday during the commissioning of the access road to the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Dangote conveyed a deep sense of optimism, stating that Tinubu's decisive and reassuring actions have rekindled hope for a brighter future for Nigeria.

He highlighted several key policies as instrumental in this renewed optimism, including the removal of fuel subsidy, comprehensive tax reforms, and the "Nigeria First" policy. Dangote firmly believes that as these policies mature and their benefits become tangible, Nigerians will enthusiastically flock to Aso Rock to express their gratitude to the President.

He emphasized that Tinubu's leadership has consistently strived to cultivate an environment conducive to private sector-led growth, citing specific reforms such as the deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector, efforts to boost crude oil production, the unification of the naira exchange rate, and the presidential CNG Initiative.

Dangote was particularly effusive in his praise for the "Nigeria First" policy, noting that President Tinubu is the first African leader to champion such an initiative aimed at achieving national self-sufficiency. He underscored that this policy aligns perfectly with the Dangote Group's own commitment to producing essential goods for Nigerians and is poised to significantly bolster the nation's economy.

Dangote urged all Nigerians to embrace this policy, drawing a parallel with similar initiatives in other developed nations like "America First." He concluded by offering his sincere thanks to the President for these far-reaching and impactful policy decisions.
