In a compelling turn of events, Babcock University has unveiled the full scope of serious transgressions committed by Master Oladipupo Siwajuola, culminating in his expulsion. This decision directly refutes the sensational social media narrative propagated by his mother, who had accused the institution of negligence in her son's disappearance.
The university, through Dr. Joshua Suleiman, Director of Marketing and Communication, clarified that Oladipupo's initial absence from campus on May 28, 2025, was entirely unauthorized. His mother's subsequent viral campaign, initiated on May 3, alleging the school's complicity, was subsequently debunked by Oladipupo himself upon his return on May 15, facilitated by his father. During a security department interview, Oladipupo voluntarily confessed to a meticulously planned exit, involving a disguise and spending two nights in the Ilishan community before proceeding to Lagos. He explicitly contradicted his mother’s assertion that his secondary school classmates located him, instead crediting the mother of a friend named Sodiq.
The gravity of Oladipupo's confessions deepened significantly, revealing his involvement with a traditional herbalist, Alfa Yusuf, from whom he obtained fetish items. He disavowed his mother’s claim of providing him with black soap for a skin condition. Even more alarmingly, Oladipupo admitted to "Yahoo Yahoo Plus," a form of cyber fraud intertwined with ritualistic practices, as well as drug peddling. Further admissions included impersonating another student using a falsified National Identification Number, the illicit sale of personal property, and accumulating a ₦500,000 debt from gambling. Following a thorough disciplinary review, conducted in strict adherence to institutional guidelines and international standards, Babcock University found Oladipupo guilty of multiple egregious offenses: unauthorized campus exit, possession and use of fetish items, drug trafficking and peddling, impersonation and academic dishonesty, and the unauthorized sale of personal belongings.
