A Nigerian woman named Buithat Hudu Muhammad Lawal has taken to Facebook to commend her "sister," Aisha, for epitomizing what she describes as a "submissive and understanding wife." Lawal, in a post shared on Friday, highlighted Aisha's unwavering dedication to her marriage, even in the face of her husband's infidelity.
According to Lawal, Aisha, who resides in Italy and is humorously dubbed an "international pick me," consistently demonstrates traditional wifely duties. She kneels to serve her husband's food, never leaves the house without his permission, and remains silent when he raises his voice. Lawal further elaborated on Aisha's domestic diligence, noting that she meticulously washes and irons his clothes, polishes his shoes, and hangs his ties.
Perhaps most striking, Lawal revealed that when Aisha discovered her husband had a "side chick," she didn't contemplate divorce. Instead, her primary focus was on identifying her own perceived shortcomings in the marriage and making amends.
