Na for Ado Ekiti Magistrate Court for Ekiti State dem carry one 20-year-old woman wey her name be Joy Ikoja go put inside prison. Dem say she wound her boyfriend for hin private part.
Police for Ekiti State carry Joy go court on Tuesday say she tear her boyfriend, Ibrahim Usman, hin scrotum during fight.
The police lawyer, Inspector Adeboye Adesegun, tell the court say the thing happen around 8 o'clock in the evening on April 12 for Irona area of Ado-Ekiti.
He tell the court say Joy wound Ibrahim serious by tearing hin scrotal sac and she do something wey fit cause trouble for the community.
According to wetin he talk, the things dem accuse her of dey against the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State, 2021.
The police lawyer beg the court no to give her bail, say she fit run away.
But her lawyer, David Ogbede, beg the court make dem give her bail, promise say she go dey come court and follow all the rules, since dem still see her as innocent person.
The magistrate, Mr. Olatomiwa Daramola, say dem no go give her bail and he order make dem keep her for Ado Ekiti prison.
Dem say dem go hear the case again on April 22.
