Nigeria Police Force don talk say dem catch two people wey dem think say dem be part of the bad people wey attack communities for Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State recently, as Leadership newspaper report am. This happen after police start to do strong work to find who do the killings wey take more than 50 lives on Monday morning.
The police talk-person, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, say dem hold the two suspects and dem dey help police with the investigation. Police dey work hard to find out why dem do the attack and dem still dey look for other people wey join the killing.
As part of how police dey react, the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, send the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Operations, DIG Kwazhi Dali Yakubu, to go oversee things for the areas wey the attack happen. Since he reach, DIG Yakubu don fly over Bassa and Bokkos to see the place and he dey talk to important people for the communities to bring peace back and make people trust police again.
After police look the situation well, the IGP also order make dem send more police people and things wey dem dey use work go Plateau State. This go help police respond quick, do more patrol for areas wey danger dey, and gather information to stop any other attack.
IGP Egbetokun, wey go the state on April 15, talk say the killings bad well well, say e no make sense and e dey threaten the peace and security of the whole country. He tell people say police still ready to bring order and make sure justice happen.
Police beg people for the communities to help security people by giving them correct information to help the investigation. The IGP send his condolence to the families of the people wey die and say police go do everything to protect all citizens and catch the people wey do the bad thing.
