The owner of Air Peace airline, Allen Onyema, happy well well for the first woman from one village called Umuerim Umukparo inside Mbala, Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, Ms. Gold Chinyere-Ike, wey enter airplane for the first time.
The airline people talk this news through one statement wey their Head of Corporate Communication, Ejike Ndiulo, sign and send to The PUNCH newspaper on Wednesday.
Ike, wey study Nursing for Abia State University, trend for social media last week after she share how she happy to fly inside airplane, say na she be the first person from her village to do am.
She post for TikTok say, “When we dey up for air, I see sky different way,” she write. “Down here, we dey look up to sky. But when you dey fly, e be like say the sky dey under you. My mouth no fit close as I dey think how heavy plane fit stay up there.”
According to her, to enter airplane na something she don dey dream of since she small.
She add say she don watch plane dey fly above her village with her papa, dey imagine “funny stories of gift wey dey fall from sky.”
To celebrate her experience with Air Peace Airline, the airline people from their office go Mbala to meet Ms. Ike and her family to carry the message from the owner of the airline.
The statement talk say the people wey represent the Chairman and CEO of Air Peace give Ms. Ike two free return ticket for economy class to any place inside Nigeria wey she want go, plus some gifts wey carry the airline name.
The owner of the airline say Ms. Ike story show the main reason why the airline dey exist.
